QERAVA Connect – Privacy Policy
For patients and partner hospitals · Last updated: 15 October 2026
QERAVA Connect helps hospitals and clinics stay in touch with their patients after a visit: a thank-you message, medicine and follow-up reminders, and a request for feedback. This policy explains what information is used, why, and your rights. It applies only to QERAVA Connect. Other QERAVA Health services have their own privacy policy.
1. Who is responsible
Your hospital decides to use QERAVA Connect and shares your details with us. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, your hospital is the Data Fiduciary and QERAVA is the Data Processor, which means we handle your details only on your hospital’s behalf and instructions.
2. What information we use
- Name, mobile number, age and gender
- Hospital, department and visit date
- Next follow-up date and whether medicine was prescribed
- Your choice about receiving reminders and greetings
- Your reply to the feedback message, if you choose to reply
We do not collect your diagnosis, prescriptions, test reports or medical records.
3. Why we use it
- To send you a thank-you message from your hospital after your visit
- To send you WhatsApp reminders before your follow-up visit
- To remind you to take your medicines, when your hospital records that medicine was prescribed
- To send festival or occasion greetings from your hospital, only if you agreed to receive them
- To ask for your feedback about your visit; your reply is shared with your hospital so it can improve its care
- To give your hospital a report of follow-ups
Messages are sent only if you agreed to receive them at the hospital.
4. What we never do
- We never sell or rent your information.
- We never use it for advertising or for any other business, including other QERAVA services.
- We never give medical advice in messages.
5. Who can see it
Your hospital and authorised QERAVA staff. We also use trusted service providers to store information securely and to deliver WhatsApp messages; they may use it only for that purpose.
6. How we protect it
Access is limited to authorised people and protected by passwords, and information is backed up regularly. If a security problem ever affects your information, we will inform your hospital promptly so that you can be told as the law requires.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your hospital uses QERAVA Connect. When the hospital stops using the service, we return the information to the hospital on request and delete our copy within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it.
8. Your rights
You may ask to see or correct your information, ask for it to be deleted, or stop receiving messages at any time. Tell your hospital, or contact us using the details below, and we will act on it with your hospital.
