WHAT IS IT
Typhoid Fever is a serious bacterial infection caused by Salmonella typhi. It spreads through contaminated food and water and mainly affects the intestines and bloodstream.

• Infection with Salmonella typhi bacteria

Rest and hydration (plenty of fluids)
• Light, easily digestible diet
• Hospital care in severe cases

• Proper sanitation and clean surroundings
